Well, I have the solution. Here I will introduce a plugin that provides shortcodes. So which builder you use is not a fact. In this tutorial, I will use the “Modula image gallery” plugin. So without further ado, let’s start.
Step 1: Install and Activating plugin
To create an image gallery, we just need to install a plugin. Modula Image Gallery is a free plugin, so we can easily install it from the WordPress repository. To install the plugin, go to WordPress Dashboard >> Plugins >> Add New. Now you will be redirected to the plugins page and search for the “Modula Image Gallery” plugin. Now Install and activate the first plugin.
Step 2: Creating an image gallery
Creating an image gallery is easy with Modula. It offers essential options to create an image gallery. Go to WordPress Dashboard >> Modula >> Galleries >> Add New
Provide the image gallery title and upload or select the images from the media library.
Now select the layout that you want to use and click on the Save Gallery button.
You will get a shortcode and copy it.
Step 3: Implementing gallery to page.
Now go to the page where you want to display the gallery. Add a shortcode widget, paste the shortcode, and update the page.
If you visit the page, You will see a beautiful gallery with your selected layout. Now let’s see other more features of this plugin. You will see many options under the settings tab and those are:
General: From the general tab, you can change gallery type, gutter, Width, Height, Image size, and much more.
Lightbox & Links: You can control lightbox and links from Lightbox & Links settings
Captions: You can also hide or show captions, select color, and much more from the Captions tab.
Social: Enable or disable the social share bar from the social tab.
Image Loading Effects: The loading Effect tab allows you to add image loading effects.
Hover Effects: You can also add different hover effects that you want.
Style: If you want to style your gallery images like border, shadow, etc you can do it from the style tab.
