Adding WooCommerce PDF Invoice and Packing slip to the WordPress website is easy if you have proper guidelines. In this guide, I will cover all the steps clearly. So let’s set up the plugin fast.
Step 1: Installing the plugin
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New
- Search PDF Invoice and Packing Slip plugin in the search box at the top right.
- Click on Install and Activate the plugin.

Step 2: Configure General settings
Now let’s set up the plugin’s general settings. Go to Dashboard → WooCommerce → PDF Invoices. You will be redirected to WooCommerce PDF Invoice & Packing Slip plugin’s general settings. Here you will see some options and fields to set pdf viewing settings, paper size, templates, shop logo, Address, etc. So, provide the information and click on the save changes button at the bottom.
Step 3: Configure Document settings
Now click on the Documents tab and here you can see two options: Invoice and Packing slip. Let’s configure the invoice first.
Under the invoice, you will get some options to configure information that you can attach to your invoice such as date, address, email, phone number, etc. After configuring settings, click on save changes at the bottom.
To configure the packing slip, first, you need to select the packing slip from the top drop-down menu. Here you will see the same settings that you already configured in document settings. Step 4: Configure Status settings
Now let’s configure our last tab “Status“. Here you will get some options that are not mandatory. If you want you can configure but you do not need to configure them.
At the bottom, you can see some tools to reinstall fonts, yearly reset, file removal, access setup widger, export and import tool, etc. You can also see the System Configuration form here.
How to create WooCommerce PDF Invoice & Packing Slip manually?
WooCommerce PDF Invoice & Packing Slip plugin automatically creates invoice but the Packing slip will not be created automatically. So now let’s see how to create invoice and packing slop manually.
- Go to Dashboard → WooCommerce → Orders
- Click on an order where you want to create an invoice and packing slip.
- You will see Create PDF box with Create Invoice and Create Packing slip options.
- Just simply click on a button to create an invoice and packing slip.
Your user can able to see and download invoices from their own account page.
